Antonio Lauro is one of the most famous composers to come from Venezuela.  He has written many works for orchestra, piano, choir, harpsichord, and guitar.  He is most well-known for his guitar works, this being his main instrument.

“Seis por Derecho” is one of the most typical folk dances of Venezuela.  It is a variation of the Joropo, which is considered to be the most typical and representative expression of the Venezuelan musical tradition.  “Pasaje Aragüeño” is a dance from the Aragua region of Venezuela.
